Vagit Alekperov, the former president of the Russian company Lukoil, has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.
According to SIA, the letter states:
"Accept my sincere congratulations on your re-election to the position of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Your victory in the elections confirms that, based on your initiatives, you have earned the trust of the people as a progressive and experienced leader who prioritizes universal values, advancing the country through dynamic development and progress.
Respected Ilham son of Heydar, I wish you robust health, a long life, inexhaustible energy, and continued success in your activities for the prosperity of the friendly Azerbaijani people."
