All electoral processes are in accordance with the law - Head of Russian Federation Duma observer mission

As a delegation representing the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, we will carry out an observation mission in all regions of Azerbaijan in connection with the presidential elections.

Artyom Turov, the head of the observation mission of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the deputy chairman of the Duma's committee on Commonwealth of Independent States, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots, said in a statement to yap.org.az, SIA reports.

The Chairman noted that the monitoring mission has not found any violations of the law so far, "It was important for us to see how the process of preparing for the elections was organized and how things were conducted. During our meetings, we exchanged ideas and witnessed that all processes were carried out in accordance with the law. As an observation mission, we did not find any violations of the law. During the election campaign, equal opportunities were created for the candidates and their access to mass media was fully ensured.

On the whole, I think that the presidential elections in Azerbaijan were organized in accordance with the legislation."

"Together with our colleagues, we will go to the polling stations on February 7 and monitor the voting process, and announce our final opinion on the process at the end of the day," Turov added.
