Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Nasir Mammadov has met with Trade Minister of Iraq Atheer Al-Ghurairi to discuss the current state of bilateral economic and trade relations and explore prospects for future development.
Ambassador Nasir Mammadov provided insights into Azerbaijan`s economic reforms and advancements in transport infrastructure, emphasizing the significance of the Alat Free Economic Zone.
He expressed Azerbaijan`s eagerness to expand economic and trade relations with Iraq.
The Iraqi Minister highlighted Baghdad`s keen interest in establishing broad relations and fostering cooperation with Azerbaijan in all areas, including the economy and trade.
They also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
