Azerbaijan and Latvia mark 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations
An event and exhibition was held by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Azerbaijan and Latvia. Attendees included leaders from the Foreign Ministry, members of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, and other officials. The program began with the rendition of the national anthems of both nations.
Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev offered his congratulations on the 30th anniversary, highlighting the growth of the strategic partnership in political, economic, humanitarian, scientific-technical, and cultural areas. He highlighted the importance of high-level visits, strategic dialogue, and last year's meeting in Baku in fostering bilateral cooperation.
Latvian Ambassador Edgars Skuja also extended his congratulations to both countries on this milestone, expressing his optimism for further progress. He commended the successful progress of bilateral relations, rooted in mutual friendship and cooperation.
The event also featured the exchange of congratulatory letters between the top diplomats of Azerbaijan and Latvia, followed by a tour of an exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
