The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev went to Saint Petersburg city on December 26, to attend the informal summit of CIS heads of states at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, SİA reports.
The governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov and other officials at Pulkovo-1 airport of Saint Petersburg city welcomed leader of Azerbaijan.
