Pope Francis, Iranian president discuss Middle East conflict

Pope Francis spoke over the phone with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the Middle East conflict was the central topic, SİA reports citing TASS.

According to the Vatican sources, the call was initiated by the Iranian side. Earlier, Pope Francis held telephone talks with US President Joe Biden and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
