As reported earlier, on August 10, 2023, the Western Azerbaijan Community sent a letter to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, which provided a detailed legal assessment of the massive violation of human rights as a result of Armenia's ethnic cleansing against Azerbaijanis and preventing their return to their homes, the community told SİA.
"These days, the aforementioned appeal has been circulated as official documents of the UN Security Council and the General Assembly agenda under the items of prevention of genocide, ethnic cleansing, crimes against humanity, elimination of racism and xenophobia.”
