During the 20 years of his activity as head of state, Ilham Aliyev fulfilled all the promises made to the people, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov said at the conference "20 Years of Unparalleled Services to Motherland, People and Statehood" taking place in Baku, according to SİA.
Asadov said the liberation of the occupied lands and the restoration of the territorial integrity of the country became one of the main achievements of the presidency.
"Today the Azerbaijani people are experiencing the most glorious and proud period of their history. We are the representatives of the victorious people, citizens of the victorious state," Asadov noted.
The prime minister added that today the key direction of the state policy conducted under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev is to carry out restoration and construction work in the liberated territories.
