Azerbaijan to carry out excavation and exhumation works in Khojaly at grave sites believed to belong persons went missing in I Garabagh War
The commission will carry out excavation and exhumation works in the territory of the Khojaly district in the grave sites of the missing persons in the First Garabagh War, Azerbaijan's State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons told SİA.
The State Commission continues the search for all Azerbaijani citizens who went missing in the First Garabagh War, as well as Natig Gasimov.
Note that during the Garabagh war, Gasimov was captured by Armenian forces, and his subsequent interrogation, mutilation, and death were orchestrated under the orders of Armenian "general" Vitaly Balasanyan.
