The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsperson) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva commented on the discovery of human remains in Gubadli and Zangilan, SİA reports.
The human remains, believed to belong to the missing persons during the I Garabagh War, were discovered and exhumed in the villages of Malikahmadli of Gubadli district and Vejnali of Zangilan district.
"Once again, we call on the world community to make firm calls to Armenia to provide information on the future fate of about 4,000 Azerbaijani who disappeared during the I Garabagh War, in order to meet the current requirements in the field of international law and human rights," Sabina Aliyeva noted.
