Convoy loaded with 40 tons of flour dispatched from Baku waiting on the Aghdam-Khankandi road for 5 days
A convoy of vehicles loaded with food aid dispatched from Baku by the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society to meet the needs of Armenian residents living in Karabakh has been on the Aghdam-Askeran-Xankandi road for the fifth day.
Vehicles carrying a load of 40 tons of flour have been waiting on the Aghdam-Askeran-Khankandi road, in front of the Russian peacekeepers' checkpoint, since August 29th.
Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society' s employees and volunteers are spending the night in tents set up in the area. They have stated that they will stay here until the food supplies are delivered to the Armenian residents in Khankandi.
Note that currently, negotiations are ongoing for the delivery of food supplies to the Armenian residents.
