Presidents of Russia and Iran discuss situation in South Caucasus
Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the Kremlin's press service said, SİA informs via TASS.
"The Iranian president has expressed full support for the Russian leadership in connection with the events of June 24," the message says.
Putin and Raisi discussed issues on the international agenda, including ensuring stability in the South Caucasus and the Syrian settlement, as well as prospects for developing cooperation with an emphasis on the implementation of agreements in the field of trade, energy, and transport, the Kremlin noted.
