IDPs continue to return to Lachin, which has been restored and rebuilt in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, SİA reports.
The next migration convoy departed to Lachin from Baku's "Gobu Park 3" residential complex in the Garadagh district.
Another 22 families - 72 people - relished the opportunity to return to their homeland.
Families were chosen from among the IDPs living in the most terrible conditions in Baku and Sumgait, as well as in temporary settlements in the Absheron region.They will return to the houses they used to live in Lachin, which were restored or reconstructed following the end of the occupation on the instructions of the head of state.
Officials of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, the special representation of the President of Azerbaijan in the Lachin region, which is part of the Eastern Zangezur economic district, and the Lachin District Executive Power attended the ceremony of sending off the families to the city of Lachin.
Recall that earlier, 20 families, totaling 97 persons, were relocated to Lachin.
