Three Azerbaijani servicemen injured in mine explosion as a result of Armenia's provocation in Shusha region
In order to escalate the situation in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is temporarily stationed, Armenia committed another provocation on the dirt road in the direction of Allahgulular village of Shusha region.
SIA refers to the press service of the Ministry of Defense that on April 22, around 17:00, a military truck of the Azerbaijan Army, which was carrying security equipment to our positions located on the heights around the village of Allahgulular, hit a mine deliberately planted by Armenians in the direction of the road and exploded.
As a result, the driver and the head of the car were injured, the vehicle broke down and became unusable. One of the military personnel who came to provide immediate aid to the wounded was also injured by an anti-personnel mine. Emergency medical assistance was provided to three of our servicemen who fell into the mine.
The commanders of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the Turkish-Russian Joint Monitoring Center were informed about the incident.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan states that all responsibility for the incident lies with the military and political leadership of Armenia.
