“Additional military forces may be sent to the quake-affected region,” Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay told journalists, SİA informs.
He said that the government is continuing its work promptly: “Turkish Armed Forces personnel are used. If necessary, the additional force will be involved in the process. There is no problem with that.”
The vice president emphasized that the situation is more serious in Hatay, Adiyaman, and Kahramanmaras: “Therefore, more forces are deployed to those regions.”
