Jeyhun Bayramov calls Mevlut Cavusoglu: Azerbaijan ready to help
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu had a telephone conversation, SİA informs, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Jeyhun Bayramov conveyed his condolences to the families of those who died as a result of the strong earthquake in Kahramanmaras, Gaziantep and other southern regions of Turkiye, as well as to the government and people of Turkiye.
He wished the wounded to recover soon.
Bayramov stressed that Azerbaijan always stands by brother Turkiye and is ready to provide every assistance in the direction of eliminating the consequences of the earthquake.
It was noted that upon the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a flexible rescue force consisting of 370 people will leave for Turkiye in order to support search and rescue operations in the next few hours.
Cavusoglu expressed his gratitude for this solidarity and support.
