Turkish embassy extends condolences to people of Azerbaijan

"We offer our condolences to all the people of Azerbaijan on January 20, National Mourning Day. We ask God's mercy for the martyrs who lost their lives for the sake of independence and wish patience to their families," the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan wrote on Twitter.

"May the souls of the martyrs rest in peace," the embassy tweeted.
