World’s weekly COVID-19 cases growing for third week in a row

The world’s new coronavirus cases increased by 3.1 mln over the week, which is 0.1 mln above the preceding similar period, according to TASS estimates.

Cases are still on the rise in Europe, while indicators go down significantly in Asia and America. The death toll was about 9,700 over seven days. Fatalities are not above 10,000 as long as for five weeks.

Russia’s daily coronavirus cases turned out to be a third smaller than during the prior week and are at their lowest from the end of July.
