Azerbaijan's Health Ministry: Coronavirus is still with us and still dangerous

"Unfortunately, Azerbaijan is also experiencing an increase in COVID-19 cases. There is also an increase in weekly cases in neighboring countries," said the Director of the Center for Public Health and Reforms of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan Gahraman Hagverdiyev, SİA reports.

He said that in the last two weeks, there had been a significant increase in the number of infected people in neighboring Turkiye, Iran, Georgia, and Russia.

"I would like to advise our citizens to be careful. Let's not forget that the novel coronavirus is still with us and still dangerous. By following the simple hygienic rules, we can protect ourselves and our loved ones not only from the coronavirus but also from other infectious diseases," he said.
