TABIB: One of the biggest problems in fight against coronavirus was oxygen supply

“One of the biggest problems during the period of the fight against the coronavirus was related to an oxygen supply,” Firangiz Aliyeva, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Medical Territorial Units Management Association (TABIB), said at the closing ceremony of the EU-funded and Solidarity Health Initiative project implemented by the World Health Organization, APA reports.

According to her, since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in the country, it is a positive factor that alongside state bodies, international organizations also stood by Azerbaijan:

“The reason why one of the biggest problems is related to oxygen supply during the period of the fight against the coronavirus is that the country has never needed so many oxygen supplies prior to this. Organizing this work and assessment of the problem that emerged was very important. Of course, the assessment was carried out within too, and work were also done by determining relevant gaps. However, it was very important to have an outside review.”
