Turkey reported 82,180 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours.
SİA informs, citing Anadolu, that it is the first time that the incidence has topped 80,000 infections.
Meanwhile, some 83,225 patients have recovered from the disease, and 174 have succumbed to the deadly pathogen.
Over 141.41 million doses of vaccine against coronavirus have been administered as part of the mass vaccination campaign in the country. More than 57.38 million people have received their first shots, and over 52.33 million have been double jabbed. Nearly 24.67 million residents of the country have received their booster dose.
