Azerbaijan has recorded 1,530 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told SİA.
Meanwhile, 1,864 people recovered from the infection, and 21 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.
Overall, the country has reported 598,503 cases of infection, 567,385 recoveries, and 8,004 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 23,114 people are receiving treatment.
Azerbaijan has conducted 5,621,021 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 12,863 today.
