“Number of cases COVID-19-associated hypercoagulability is more than hypercoagulability cases caused by the AstraZeneca vaccine for many times,” said World Health Organization's regional director for Europe Hans Kluge at the briefing, SİA reports.
He noted that each country decides itself which vaccine to use.
According to H. Kluge, AstraZeneca’s being effective has also been confirmed by the WHO.
“I would receive AstraZeneca vaccine without any hesitation,” stressed the WHO official.
WHO expert Oleg Benes said that most member countries in the European region conduct vaccination of people with the vaccine, but at the same time, some countries recommend a certain age limit for receiving of the vaccine.
