Azerbaijan reports 2,334 new COVID-19 cases

In the past 24 hours, Azerbaijan has confirmed 2,334 new coronavirus cases, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers told SİA.

Some 4,461 virus infected people have recovered, and 46 patients have died, the headquarters noted.

Up until now, 208,211 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, 151,660 of them have recovered, and 2,340 people have died. The number of active cases stands at 54,211.

Over the past day, 14,599 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Azerbaijan, bringing the total number of tests to 2,102,957.
