106 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 59 patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospital, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers informs, according to SIA.
According to the Task Force, born in 1949 and 1962, two Azerbaijani citizens have died after testing positive for COVID-19.
“The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 3,855, with 2,399 recoveries and 46 deaths, while treatment of 1,410 others is underway in the specialized hospitals. 48 of the infected are in a severe and 61 in a moderate-to-severe condition, while the health of others is stable.
A total of 259,155 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country so far," the Task Force added.
