A Medical and social campaign dedicated to International Children's Day held at the Central Customs Hospital

A medical and social campaign for children with autism spectrum disorders was organized at the Central Customs Hospital on the occasion of June 1 – International Children's Day. The event was attended by Shahlar Mirgasim, Deputy Head of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee, Nahida Mahmudova, Deputy Director of the Central Customs Hospital, Tamilla Aliyeva, Head of the Polyclinic Department, healthcare professionals, and volunteer customs officers.
In his opening remarks, Shahlar Mirgasim, Deputy Head of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee, sincerely congratulated the children on International Children's Day and wished them good health, happiness, and a prosperous future. In his speech, he emphasized that the attention and care shown to children by National Leader Heydar Aliyev have always held a special place in Azerbaijan’s state policy. He noted that this humanitarian policy is successfully continued today by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and that ensuring children grow up in a healthy, safe, and caring environment remains one of the key priorities of the country’s social policy.
Shahlar Mirgasim also highlighted the significant role of humanitarian and social projects implemented at the initiative of Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, particularly in protecting children's health and improving their well-being.
As part of the campaign, the children underwent comprehensive medical examinations by specialists from various fields. The medical team included pediatricians Tarana Goyushova, Nigar Mirzayeva, Aygun Sadikhova, and Nazila Huseynova; traumatologist Museyib Ahmadov; pediatric neurologist Mehriban Mammadova; otorhinolaryngologist Elvin Azizov; pediatric surgeon Alshan Pashazade; and ophthalmologists Aynura Aliyeva and Aybaniz Zeynalova.
The children were also presented with commemorative gifts during the event. The campaign concluded with a group photo session.
