A meeting of the Disciplinary Anti-Doping Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held under the chairmanship of Ismayil Efendiyev, Deputy Head of the Medical Service of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, PhD in Medical Sciences, Associate Professor. During the meeting, issues related to anti-doping rule violations were reviewed based on appeals submitted by athletes.
The hearings were conducted openly, transparently, and objectively, with the participation of all interested parties, in accordance with the requirements of the World Anti-Doping Agency and the World Anti-Doping Code. During the discussions, the submitted materials were thoroughly examined, and relevant decisions were adopted.
It should be noted that the Disciplinary Anti-Doping Committee of the Ministry of Health includes the country’s leading medical specialists and legal experts in this field.
