Scientific-Practical Symposium on “Emergency Allergology and Acute Toxico-Allergic Conditions: Modern Approaches to Diagnosis and Treatment” to Be Held at the Central Customs Hospital
On May 15, 2026, a scientific-practical symposium titled “Emergency Allergology and Acute Toxico-Allergic Conditions: Modern Approaches to Diagnosis and Treatment” will be held in the conference hall (ACT Hall) of the Central Customs Hospital.
The event is jointly organized by the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Central Customs Hospital, Azerbaijan Medical University, the Azerbaijan Toxicologists Association (ATD), and the Azerbaijan Society of Anesthesiologists and Reanimatologists (AzRAC).
The main objective of the symposium is to discuss the latest scientific advances, modern diagnostic and treatment approaches in the fields of allergology, immunology, toxicology, and emergency medicine, as well as to promote the exchange of practical experience. Alongside local specialists, representatives from various medical fields are expected to participate in the event.
Within the framework of the symposium, attendees will listen to a presentation by immunologist Laman Jafarova, assistant at the Department of Allergology and Immunology of Azerbaijan Medical University, on the topic “A New Approach to the Treatment of Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria.” The presentation will provide detailed information on the diagnostic features of chronic spontaneous urticaria, modern treatment principles, and new approaches applied in clinical practice.
A total of 9 presentations will be delivered during the scientific symposium, which will take place in the conference hall of the Central Customs Hospital, within two panels titled “Severe Allergic and Toxico-Allergic Syndromes: Diagnosis, Clinical Features, and Treatment Algorithms” and “Allergic and Toxico-Allergic Conditions: Special Cases and Their Therapeutic Strategies.” The symposium will be conducted in an interactive format through panel discussions and Q&A sessions.
According to the program, the symposium is primarily intended for allergologists, toxicologists, anesthesiologists-reanimatologists, therapists, pediatricians, and emergency medicine physicians.
The symposium has been accredited by the Scientific Medical Council of the Ministry of Health and awarded 4 DTT credits.
As the number of seats is limited, registration is MANDATORY!
Participation in the symposium is free of charge. Medical professionals from the regions may attend the symposium only in an online format.
