The 1st Medical Students’ Forum on “Organ Transplantation from the Perspective of Medicine and Law” to Be Held

On January 24, 2026, the 1st Medical Students’ Forum entitled “Organ Transplantation from the Perspective of Medicine and Law” will be held, jointly organized by the Scientific, Practical and Educational Center of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee and the Central Customs Hospital, with the support of the Organ Donation and Transplantation Coordination Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the “Doctors and Medical Students” Public Union.
The Forum is planned to take place in the conference hall of the Central Customs Hospital. Within the framework of the event, a total of four presentations will be delivered by highly qualified specialists on the following topics:
“Organ Transplantation from Deceased Donors: Criteria for the Determination of Brain Death”
“Transplantation and Human Life: Scientific Achievements, Current Realities, and Future Perspectives”
“The Power of Giving Life: Why Should I Become a Donor?”
“Donation and Transplantation: Legal Framework and Social Impacts”
The event will be conducted in an interactive format, including discussions and question-and-answer sessions.
According to the program, the Forum is intended for medical students.
Due to the limited number of seats, registration is MANDATORY!
