A Basic Life Support training was held for employees at the Central Customs Hospital
On December 5, 2025, a “BLS – Basic Life Support” instructor training was conducted at the Central Customs Hospital for the Emergency Department drivers, porters, and nurses from various departments. The training, led by Dr. Javad Jabarov, an emergency physician at the Central Customs Hospital, consisted of theoretical and practical sessions. The main objective of the training was to enhance the participants’ skills in providing first aid to patients or injured individuals until a professional medical team arrives at the scene.
During the training, participants were instructed on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the use of an automated external defibrillator, airway management, first aid for choking, as well as the recognition of life-threatening conditions and principles of rapid intervention. In the practical part, employees strengthened their skills through simulations on mannequins, designed to reflect real-life scenarios. At the end of the training, Dr. Javad answered the participants’ questions.
