At the Central Customs Hospital, a seminar on “Stress Resilience: Mental Health in White Coats” was held
On October 10, 2025, as part of the World Mental Health Day initiative organized by the Scientific-Experimental and Training Center of the Medical Service of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a seminar on “Stress Resilience: Mental Health in White Coats” took place.
The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Deputy Head of the Medical Service of the State Customs Committee, PhD, Associate Professor Ismayil Efendiyev, who emphasized the important role of mental health for medical professionals. He noted that such seminars help improve staff resilience to stress and contribute to creating a healthy psychological environment within the team.
Following this, presentations were given by Mirshahin Alizade, clinical psychologist and member of the World Memory Olympiad Federation, on “Stress Resilience: Mental Health in White Coats,” and Shehla Mirzazade, specialist at the Scientific-Experimental and Training Center of the Medical Service, on “The Social and Medical Significance of Mental Health Day.”
During the seminar, medical staff received practical recommendations on stress management, preventing emotional burnout, and enhancing psychological resilience. The event was met with great interest by participants, who highlighted that such initiatives play a crucial role in the professional and personal development of medical personnel.
