A rare reconstructive surgery has been performed at the Pediatric Surgery Department of the Central Customs Hospital.
The Head of the Pediatric Surgery Department, highly qualified pediatric surgeon Dr. Vusal Jafarov, successfully operated on a 4-year-old patient. During the surgery, a skin graft was performed on the child’s genital organ using the “flap” technique.Dr. Vusal Jafarov emphasized that such surgeries require high precision, extensive experience, and special surgical techniques. The purpose of the intervention is to ensure the child’s normal functional development in the future, while also achieving both aesthetic and medically healthy outcomes.
The specialist underlined that such operations at the Central Customs Hospital are carried out in line with international standards, using modern technologies, and are considered an important step in the advancement of pediatric reconstructive surgery.
