The Deputy Chief of the Central Customs Hospital, cardiologist Dr. Nabil Seyidov, provided detailed information on the topic “What is Myocarditis?”. He noted that myocarditis is an inflammatory disease of the heart muscle, which can be caused by viruses, bacteria, and other microorganisms. Dr. Seyidov highlighted the main symptoms of myocarditis — rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, fatigue, chest pain, and in some cases swelling — emphasizing the importance of laboratory and instrumental examinations for early diagnosis of the disease.
In addition, Dr. Nabil Seyidov explained the principles of treating myocarditis, noting that therapy should be tailored to the patient’s condition and may include medication, lifestyle modifications, and, in some cases, treatment under hospital supervision.
