A training session dedicated to the preparation of the 2026–2030 Strategic Development Plan of the Medical Service Department based on SWOT analysis was held at the Central Customs Hospital
In accordance with the instructions of the Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on August 12, 2025, a training session was held at the Central Customs Hospital dedicated to the preparation of the 2026-2030 Strategic Development Plan of the Medical Service Department based on SWOT analysis. The event was attended by the heads of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee, the Central Customs Hospital, the Scientific-Practical and Training Center, as well as department chiefs, doctors, and staff members.
Deputy Chief of the Central Customs Hospital, Nabil Seyidov, provided detailed information about the main principles and application areas of SWOT analysis, emphasizing that this method serves to systematically identify the internal strengths and weaknesses of an organization, as well as external opportunities and threats. He noted that this tool plays an important role in the preparation of the Medical Service Department’s strategic development plan, the optimal use of resources, and the adoption of effective decisions to achieve set goals.
Later, the Chief of the Central Customs Hospital - Chief Physician Baxtiyar Musayev addressed the participants, sharing practical recommendations on increasing the effectiveness of SWOT analysis and highlighting the importance of strategic planning, teamwork, and the development of mutual cooperation.
At the end of the event, the Head of the Scientific-Practical and Training Center of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee, Rashad Mahmudov stressed that SWOT analysis is an important tool in such strategic approaches, contributing to the future development of the Medical Service Department and the improvement of service quality.
