“Azerbaijani people and government made great efforts to eliminate malaria,” Director General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, SİA reports.
“Azerbaijan and Tajikistan’s achievements are another proof of the possibility to eliminate malaria with proper resources and political commitment. I hope that other countries can also benefit from their experience,” he noted.
