US President Joe Biden has undergone a successful surgery to remove a skin lesion with cancerous tissue, Reuters reported on Friday, citing his physician.

The report said a biopsy in February confirmed he had basal cell carcinoma. Biden will continue dermatologic surveillance, the physician said.
