Verdicts on criminal cases on 26 persons in connection with the "Terter case" have been annulled, press service of Prosecutor General's Office told SİA.
It has been noted that criminal prosecution was conducted against them on the charge of treason, which was returned to the prosecutor who conducted the procedural management of the preliminary investigation by the courts based on the protest of the prosecutor's office for further investigation.
But later the case was not proved and all cases regarding criminal prosecution of 26 person, who were convicted of anti-military service and other crimes, have been fully, comprehensively, and objectively investigated, decisions were made to terminate criminal prosecution against 19 persons on exculpatory grounds, on other 7 persons with exculpatory grounds for certain episodes, and for some episodes with non-exculpatory grounds.
