The "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information about a fire in a mountainous forest area near Tikanli village of Gabala region.
Immediately after the information was received, the fire protection units of the State Fire Protection Service of the MES were involved in fire fighting, the MES told SIA.
In addition to the fire fighting measures, one helicopter of the Aviation unit was involved in order to speed up the firefighting operations and prevent its spread over a wide area.
