Azerbaijani MFA extends condolences to Iran over train crash

"We are deeply saddened by the news on passenger train crash which resulted in casualties as a result of a derailment in Iran," Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan wrote on Twitter, SİA reports.

"We extend condolences to close people and families of those who have died as a result of the crash, and people of Iran with deep sympathy, wish recovery to the wounded," noted Ministry.

Note that a passenger train partially derailed in eastern Iran early Wednesday, killing at least 17 people and injuring 50 more, including some critically.
