"On May 28, the Armenian media reported that one serviceman of the Armenian Armed Forces was seriously injured as a result of the alleged violation of the ceasefire by the Azerbaijani side on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border." "Regarding this, we officially state that this information is not true and does not reflect reality.
In front of the area where the Armenian serviceman was wounded (Nerkin And village of Syunik region of Armenia) (Razdere village of Zangilan region), our units guarding the state border did not open fire on the territory of Armenia during that day.
As a result of observations made by our units, drunken indiscipline of servicemen at the location of the unit of the Armenian Armed Forces, 1 shot was heard inside the tent at around 10:37, 8 minutes later - at 10:45, 2 more shots were heard. Later, one person was evacuated from the tent.
Observation, photo-video evidence and analysis of other materials carried out at that time show that the incident took place among the Armenian servicemen.
