The district prosecutor's office told SIA that preliminary investigations revealed suspicions that the victim's husband, Gachay Shahmammadov, born in 1984, intentionally killed Rimma Tariverdiyeva by stabbing her during a personal dispute.
The Absheron District Prosecutor's Office has launched a criminal case under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code.
Gachay Shahmammadov was detained as a suspect and is under investigation.
Necessary investigative measures are underway in the criminal case.
