Since the tripartite statement was signed and to this day, 219 people, with majority civilians, have fallen victim to landmines, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson Leyla Abdullayeva said, as quoted by SİA.
"Unfortunately, our citizens occasionally suffer from landmines, including after the Armenian side provided the mine maps and after the Brussels meetings of leaders of the two countries. Ten people were injured in nine accidents in April this year alone," Leyla Abdullayeva said.
