The 112 hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has received information about the danger of a chimney overturning at a height of about 15 meters at 38 Amir Bagirov Street, Sabunchu settlement, Sabunchu district, Baku. The ministry told SIA that the information was immediately passed to the relevant local executive power. However, taking into account the windy weather, specialists of the State Agency for Safe Work in Industry and Mining of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were called to the address to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent possible undesirable situations.
During the inspection of the area, the agency's specialists found that there was a danger of overturning at any time due to the breakage of the seat belts of the pipe located in the immediate vicinity of the houses.
