At the Bilasuvar customs post of the Southern Territorial Main Customs Office, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who came from the Islamic Republic of Iran on foot, was checked by an X-ray machine and suspicious lines were observed.
According to the Press and Public Relations Department of the State Customs Committee, during the oral interrogation, the citizen said that he did not have any items hidden from customs control and said that there were no items, drugs or psychotropic substances that must be declared to customs control. During the inspection, 30 capsules "Gabapentin", 20 tablets "Alprazolam", 30 capsules "Pregabalin", 38 tablets "Methadone" with the mark "ddp / M20" on the inside of the sports bag, and 1 plastic bag in a transparent cellophane bag. Methadone was found in 210 ml of liquid form.
It should be noted that the total amount of "Gabapentin" included in the "List of potent substances and their quantities" was 3 grams, "Pregabalin" - 1.5 grams, included in the List III of the "psychotropic substance controlled in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan " total amount of "Alprazolam" was 0.01 grams and the amount of "Methadone" included in the List II of "drugs restricted for circulation in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan" was 0.76 grams, and the amount of liquid "Methadone" was 0.21 grams.
