A person suspected of stealing water meters installed in 10 apartments at different times was detained in Narimanov district.
Huseyn Eldarov, a resident of Baku, was detained on suspicion of committing thefts as a result of an operation carried out by officers of the 16th Police Department of the Narimanov District Police Office, SIA reports. In his testimony, the person said that he had broken the stolen meters and sold them to metal reception points. Some of the stolen meters were found by the detainee and seized as material evidence. Huseyn Eldarov's theft of meters was also recorded by security cameras.
Baku resident Kamil Aliyev was detained during another operation against drug trafficking by the Narimanov District Police Office's 16th Police Department. During the search, more than 1 kilogram of heroin was found in the possession of a drug dealer living in one of the foreign countries, whom he met on social networks for sale. In his testimony, Kamil Aliyev said that he was engaged in drug trafficking.
The materials collected at the 16th Police Station were sent to the Narimanov District Police Office. Investigative measures are underway around Huseyn Eldarov and Kamil Aliyev.
