The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues to fulfill its responsibilities, including the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies.
According to the information given by the Ministry of Emergency Situations to SIA, on the basis of calls received by the “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the relevant bodies of the Ministry carried out rescue operations on 27 fires and 2 helplessness.
As a result of dire and urgent measures taken, the fire was extinguished and people's lives were saved.
In total, two people were rescued by the Ministry of Emergency Situations over the past day.
