SBS: Liberated section of Azerbaijani-Iranian state border taken under control, drug trafficking severely affected
The liberated 132 km section of the Azerbaijani-Iranian state border has been taken under control by Azerbaijani border guards. Due to the restoration of border protection infrastructure in this direction, drug trafficking passing through these areas in the past has been severely affected, it was stated at a report meeting on the results of last year at the SBS, SİA reports.
The meeting stressed that demarcation work has been continued on the Azerbaijani-Russian state border, and 178 border signs have been installed so far.
