Following the principles of humanism, mutual respect, and good neighborliness, Azerbaijan has returned Iranian citizens Barzegar Haghi Jafar Ghazanfar and Norouzi Shahroud Heydari to their country this morning under the relevant agreement, SİA informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
The mentioned persons were detained for smuggling goods across the customs border of Azerbaijan using documents and customs identification means, as well as for illegally crossing the protected state border without proper documents and outside the checkpoints.
