With the help of relevant government agencies, necessary measures have been taken to identify the victims of the hostilities in a short period, said Deputy Prosecutor General - Military Prosecutor of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General of Justice Khanlar Valiyev.
"The employees of the Military Prosecutor's Office, together with the employees of the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, carried out intensive operational-investigative measures, urgent investigative actions, numerous examinations, search teams consisting of employees of the Ministries of Defense and Emergency Situations have implemented regular work.
So far, they have handed over the bodies of 2,907 people, including the complete identification of our missing servicemen. Operational investigative measures are being taken to determine the whereabouts of the other seven missing servicemen, and search teams are currently working intensively," Valiyev noted.
