5.1-magnitude earthquake jolts Iran

The magnitude 5.1 earthquake has been recorded today in northeastern Iran, the European-Mediterranean seismological center said.

SİA informs, citing TASS, that the epicenter was at a depth of 2 km, 43 km northeast of Kuchan, a city with a population of around 111,000 people.

There are no reports of casualties and destruction.
